Top 5 Holy Grail Make Up Products | Beauty
It's time for a brand new post under our new series - ‘The Dancebee Guide’ - a list of my favourite, tried and tested items and products, ranging from Skincare to Books, Make up and more. In this week's post, I have put together a list of top 5 holy grail make up products, that I absolutely swear by. Products that I continue to repurchase and stock up on, even after several years. The experience and feedback is 100% genuine and honest, and all the products featured here have been purchased (while some may have been initially tried during a PR campaign, but post that - they have been repurchased).
So, here we go with a list of my holy grail make up products - Tried, tested and loved for a long time, and they never disappoint!
Mac Cosmetics Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 Liquid Foundation
Price: Rs 2900
My top pick for days when I need a really good, high coverage look (especially for a long day at shoot or event). Love the texture, doesn’t look cakey, and stays on for really long. I love adding a little bit of extra moisturiser or primer to this and create a dewy look for days when I don't need heavy coverage.
Smashbox Cosmetics Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick
Rs 2100
Two shades I always stock up on include Bawse and Gulabae. While one is a beautiful bold red (which can brighten up any look, any day), the other is a lovely pink nude, perfect for a subtle glam or minimalist look. Featured here is 'Gulabae'.
Benefit Goof Proof Pencil
Price: Rs 2390 (also available in a mini version)
There is no going back once you’ve tried this one. Gives your brow that perfect finish, whether you get it done at home or while traveling. It is so handy, and definitely - ensures your brows look like a 'work of art'.
Mac Cosmetics Matte Lipstick
Price: Rs 1700 (also avaiiable in a mini version)
One lipstick that you will always find in my bag! While I swear by their other shades like Ruby Woo and Lady Danger, I love this beautiful pinkish nude called ‘Mehr’ which looks terrific on the rich Indian skin tone
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
Price: Rs 399
Affordable, buildable coverage, blends well and the packaging is handy - what’s not to love? I always stock them up, and on most days - just a little bit of concealer goes a long way

Current Favourite Skincare Products | The Dancebee Guide | Beauty
Here’s presenting ‘The Dancebee Guide’ - a list of my favourite, tried and tested items and products, ranging from Skincare to Books, Make up and more. A new guide coming up every week on the blog. Starting off the first guide with a bunch of my current favourite skincare products - most of which I have used for more than 6-8 months. It includes a mix of purchased products as well as some that were received in PR - but, the experience and feedback is 100% genuine and honest. So, here we go with the current most loved skincare items - Tried, tested and loved by Dancebee!
Pixi Beauty pHenomenal Gel
Price: Rs 2250
A soothing gel based moisturiser, which nourishes your skin. Very gentle and hydrating. This is my fourth tube (only the first one was gifted), and I absolutely love the gentle ingredients (Hello, aloe). A bit on the pricier side, but absolutely worth every penny!
Clinique Moisture Surge Intense
Price: Rs 1800 onwards (for 30ml)
This texture of this moisturiser is so nice and rich, yet it does not feel too heavy - a major win for summer. Plus, it keeps my skin supple and hydrated for a good number of hours.
Bioderma Atoderm Creme
Price: Rs 599
Bioderma Atoderm Crème is a real boon for someone like me - with sensitive skin, that turns way too dry during winter. In fact, it’s great for summer too, as the texture is not too heavy.
Innisfree Aloe Vera Revital Soothing Gel
Price: Rs 550
I carry this soothing aloe gel with me, everywhere (smaller tube for travel)! I use this as a moisturiser first thing in the morning, and quite handy for a host of skin problems (especially sun burn during the summer season)
Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturizing Lotion For Sensitive Skin
Price: Rs 1170
If there is any body lotion I trust (apart from the Sebamed hydrating body lotion), it's this one! A little product goes a long way. Love this for sensitive areas that get super dry and flaky (plus, my skin turns red during seasonal changes). A little on the pricier side, but the 350ml pump bottle definitely lasts quite long.

Nail Art Inspiration for the Party Season | LYN Nails
Recently, they launched their Shades of Grey range, which includes (as the name suggests) some really amazing hues from the grey family. You can choose from glossy, matte, shimmer or metallic, there is something for everyone. For someone who has been using products by LYN Nails since quite time, the brand has got me hooked on to their latest range, especially the colours titled - Grey's Anatomy and Eat Grey Love. In this post, we give you 5 nail art inspirations, clicked at the launch party of this range, that are perfect for the party season. They are all about bling, shimmer and glitter, but are don't scream 'OTT' at all. Plus, grey is a versatile colour. So, even if you make last minute outfit changes (and the whole ordeal leaves you feeling stressed), your manicure won't leave you worried.

Kaya CC+ Cover Correct Complexion Perfector Cream | Review
Experience: We started using this product at a time when winter kept playing hide and seek. The climate was a mix of humid afternoons and breezy nights. Post cleansing, we used the CC+ complexion perfector cream with a basic moisturiser and the result was well hydrated, smooth skin. While the cream does not give you 100% coverage (so, you will have to use a concealer), it does add a natural glow that stays on for a good 4 -5 hours. We did not follow up with any compact powder, and still, the cream ensured that our face does not look patchy, stretchy or greasy. For those with combiation / oily skin, we suggest you use the CC+ cream directly, as it provides enough hydration.
