Rakita Rakita Dance Cover - Jagame Thandhiram | Dhanush Birthday Special | Priya Adivarekar
As Superstar Dhanush celebrates his 38th birthday this year, I thought it would be exciting to recreate his recent chartbuster 'Rakita Rakita' from 'Jagame Thandhiram'. While the euphoria surrounding his birthday has hit a peak - with #HappyBirthdayDhanush trending all day on social media and fans pouring their hearts out with incredible wishes - we thought of presenting our own humble, heartfelt surprise. The video was shot at home due to the covid-19 restrictions, and this is also the first time that I've tried wearing a 'Tamil Veshti' (if I've got the method or draping wrong, my apologies. But, I would love to keep trying and improvise). I truly enjoyed every bit of recreating this foot tapping number.
Here's my fun MASS attempt, and I truly hope you guys enjoy it. Let's Rakita!!

Tabaah Ho Gaye - Kalank | Dance Cover
The name 'Saroj Khan' is eponymous to 'Bollywood Dance'. An entire generation grew up, while performing on her popular dance numbers, and matching steps with her impeccable choreography. Our beloved 'Masterji' (as most would often call her) passed away on July 3, 2020; leaving behind a rich legacy, that shall be remembered for years to come.
As a heartfelt tribute, I wanted to create a dance cover on her last song as a choreographer - the track which features her favourite muse and the dancing legend, Madhuri Dixit Nene. This one's for my favourite Bollywood Jodi, which has delivered some of the greatest dancing hits! Part of my 'Lockdown Edition' dance series. Hope you like it.

Dhanush Birthday Special | Maari Thara Local - Impromptu Dance
Hello, Dancebee fam!! Yesterday, we celebrated the birthday of Kollywood superstar Dhanush - who turned 37 this year. Interestingly, he got together a double treat for his fans. While he launched the first track 'Rakita Rakita' from his upcoming film, Jagame Thadhiram', he also revealed the first look of an upcoming film - Karnan, which is currently under production. While the euphoria surrounding his birthday intensified, we brought out our humble, yet fun tribute for the Kolaveri Di superstar.
This is something that I wanted to do since a really long time - a total freak out, no frills, impromptu dance tribute, dedicated to one of my favourite superstar. So, here's my humble, MASS attempt, on this 2015 Kollywood chartbuster from the film - Maari. Presenting my Birthday Tribute on 'Maari Thara Local' (composed by Anirudh Ravichander). Let's dance!!

There are some really cool genres that are waiting to be explored, which ranges from socio-dramas to thriller, period drama to chick flicks and more. But, what is it about some of these films that makes it a must watch? And, which films are we excited to watch this year?

The Dancebee Rewind 2017
31 December - last day of the year, and this calls for a throwback!!! 2017 was like a roller coaster ride, packed with sweet and sour moments. From working on some fabulous projects, to interacting with incredible artists. Exploring beautiful cities and countries to watching my Dancebee Fam grow by leaps and bounds, with fans from across the globe; undoubtedly, there was a lot to be thankful for.
It was also the year that taught me a lot about life and it's unpredictability. While the professional front saw a lot of hope and full fledged action, I dealt against a lot of negative vibes on the personal side. The last quarter of 2017 was like a ridiculous nightmare, with strange and depressing things happening one after another. With god's grace and faith in that 'light at the end of a dark tunnel', we have managed to divert our attention towards bigger things and look at the brighter side of life. The tide is still very much high, but we hope the new year shall sail things smoothly.
The end of November as a big blow. My darling little babe - Kiara's loss left a big void. It wasn't easy to cope up with all that had happened. But, I somehow mustered up the courage and realised that she is very much with us. Her warmth, kindness and happy face will always have an integral space in my heart. She is watching us from the heaven above, and will continue to spread happiness across the rainbow.
All said and done, it's time to take a look at the year that was, with our very own - Dancebee Rewind 2017! Watch the video, and do leave a comment / Hit like if you enjoyed watching little glimpses from my life.
As we inch towards a brand new year, here's hoping it brings in lots of positivity, love, hope and happiness across the globe. And of course, I promise to create tons of new content (also, to be a LOT more regular on YouTube. I promise) and shall continue to take our content a notch higher than the last year, as always. Here's to raising the bar in 2k18 with our work and enthusiasm, and spreading positive vibes around like a pocketful of glitter. Goodbye 2017! See you in 2018, Dancebee Fam.

Last month, we got the chance to explore the scenic and serene - Odisha. Apart from touring the beautiful state, we were privileged to be a part of the prestigious - 22nd Asian Athletics Championships 2017, which was organised last month. Team Dancebee was invited as part of the special media delegation, and we got the wonderful opportunity to witness everything that went behind the making of this grand event.
