Za Perfect Fit Liquid Foundation Review
Review | Za Perfect Fit Liquid Foundation
So, after facing a whole lot of technical issues since more than a month (also the reason why we were off YouTube) and being busy with a few personal projects, we are back with regular posts, just like always. This time, we have got a beauty review. Za India recently launched their all new liquid foundation - Za Perfect Fit Liquid Foundation - which has a water based formula. The product was tested during the experience period and the results are here! Read on to know more.
What? Za Perfect Fit Liquid Foundation
Quantity: 30ml
Price: Rs 700
Available in: 6 Shades
Available in: 6 Shades
Shade tested: OC 30
What does it promise? The Za Perfect Fit Foundation contains micro pink pearls. These ultra fine pearls emit diverse kinds of light, that can help diminish uneven skin tone and pores. It helps emit light from within for flawless skin, with a rosy glow and great complexion. The oil free and water based formula feels watery and spreads over the skin with a dewy texture, in order to perfectly suit your skin. It provides a non-sticky finish, that renders the use of a face powder unnecessary.
How to use? Shake lightly, 2-3 times and apply an appropriate amount over face, spreading evenly from the centre of the face to outwards.
Packaging: Comes in an adorable, plastic bottle. The metallic cap ensures that the product does not spill. It also ensures that no extra amount of the product pours out during application. The cap fits well and both the bottle, cap are not too heavy. The packaging is very convenient and light weight, especially to use while traveling, which is a major plus point.
Texture: Since its a water based formula, the texture is light weight. It does not feel too heavy, even after application. The product is smooth and has a satiny finish.
Overall Experience: Personally, I have always preferred foundations with a water based formula as compared to the normal ones, thanks to their light texture and non-cakey finish. The Za Perfect Fit Liquid Foundation makes for a perfect addition to your make up kit, especially during the hot and humid climate. The bottle is easy to carry. For a natural look, just a little bit of the product goes a long way. The coverage is decent, but if you are looking for a heavy coverage, you might have to depend on extra use of concealer. After evenly applying the product, it hydrates and does not leave your skin feeling too oily or dry. I also noticed how the product has a pink undertone, which gives a light rosy finish (at least my shade did). The SPF 17 PA ++ makes for an added advantage, as it does the job of protecting your skin as well. What also works in the favour of this product is the fact that it is suitable for all skin types. It works well for those with dry, oily and combination skin, which is great. Plus, the price you pay for all these benefits is perfect. The fragrance is similar to other Za make up products.
Pros: Light weight formula
Gives a natural, satiny finish
Hydrating
well prices
convenient packaging
Cons: Light coverage
Use of Alcohol in Ingredients
Verdict: Makes for a great buy, if you are looking for a well priced, light weight foundation with light coverage. Plus, the adorable packaging only makes it more coveted. The smooth texture and perfect finish will give you a subtle, natural glow. It's a wonder product, housed in a beautiful little bottle.

Za Perfect Solutions Youth Whitening Serum Review
Za Perfect Solutions Youth Whitening Serum | Review
Za India from the house of Shiseido, is constantly working on new innovations in skincare, keeping every target audience and age group in mind. While we were impressed with some of their White Perfect range products, Za recently introduced us to a new product from their Perfect Solutions range (a high performance anti-aging skincare line). This miracle product is called the Za Perfect Solutions Youth Whitening Serum, which was launched in the Indian market earlier this month. Since the product is suitable for a certain age group (and focuses on skin issues faced by them) and I don't belong to that age bracket (nor does my team), we decided to get someone on board who could test the product for us (for a fortnight) and tell us about their experience. Our test participant was team member Dhwanika's 31 - year - old cousin sister (name withheld on request), who readily agreed to help us out by trying the product for a month and talking about her experience.
What? - Za Perfect Solutions Youth Whitening Serum
Quantity: 30ml
Price: Rs 1299/-
What does it promise? With Revolutionary Retino-White Complex, this Powerful Serum delivers unmatched Radiance and retains Youthful Luminosity in just 7 days. Retinol Derivative reduces visible wrinkles caused by UV damage and aging, while its Breakthrough Intensive Triangle Technology improves skin’s resilience & clarity. It dramatically reduces excess melanin and signs of aging giving Radiant, Youthful & Perfect Skin.
Packaging: This tiny, classy bottle with a pump looks absolutely beautiful. The pink cap adds a unique charm to this bottle, making it look stylish. The bottle is sturdy and can be carried during travel without any issues. Since the cap fits well and the pump ensures that the product doesn't spill, one doesn't have to worry about any mess. Plus, thanks to the pump, you can be assured that you get the right amount of product for use and it doesn't go waste.
How to use? Apply morning and evening, after lotion and before moisturizer.
Push pump twice to dispense serum onto palm and smooth over face.
Texture: The product is slightly runny and the texture is extremely light. Once applied, one can feel how the product does not make your skin feel greasy or heavy. In fact, it is almost like plain water and my skin absorbs (or drinks) it up quickly, leaving my skin hydrated and nourished. Since June was a month mixed with humid (day) and slightly cold (evening) days, I skipped my moisturizer during the day, as this serum pretty much did the job (especially since I have oily skin). Maybe for those with extremely dry skin, you can use this with your regular CTM regime. I loved how the product left a dewy finish.
Overall experience: I started off by using this product at night and gradually (by the fifth day of use) began using it in the day as well. I don't really face too many skin issues, but the main concern has always been a few dark spots and uneven skin tone. I have always been a believer of the fact that products take their own sweet time to show results. I gave this product some time and the first thing I noticed was that my skin didn't feel greasy or heavy while using this product, which was a boon. Another aspect that impressed me was how post my night skin routine, my face looked fresh and radiant in the morning, just after a plain water wash. After 20 days of regular use, I noticed how it had started working on making the dark spots look lighter and slightly improved the appearance of my skin tone, especially the jawline and cheek area. While most serums would cause a huge dent in my pocket, this one does a brilliant job at less price. Although everything works in the product works and I swear by it now, I was a little disappointed when informed about the alcohol content. Hope team Za works on doing something about it. Otherwise, the Za perfect solution youth whitening serum has definitely got a fan in me.
Pros: Classy packaging
Light weight, non-greasy texture
Works well as an overnight serum
Adds a radiant, fresh glow to your skin in the morning
Priced well
Works on dark spots
Cons: High alcohol content
Verdict: If you don't have any allergies or issues with the alcohol in this product, then it should definitely make its way into your skincare regime. I am hooked on!

Za True White Exfoliating Clay
Za True White Exfoliating Clay | Review
Japan based Za, from the house of Shiseido, has been busy surprising the Indian consumers with one launch after another. While we recently reviewed the Za True White Emulsion here, and now, we are back with a product review. This time, we tested the Za True White Exfoliating Clay, a Kaolin and Vitamin C based product, that promises to exfoliate your skin from within, thus giving your skin feeling fresh, hydrated and as the product says - translucent. But does this product live up to all the promises? Read the review to find out.
Product: Za True White Exfoliating Clay
Price: Rs 399
Quantity: 100g
What does it promise? This whitening clay mask exfoliates excess surface skin cells, removes impurities around pores, absorbs sebum, and instantly imparts translucent skin. The SPA ingredients and Vitamin C helps the skin in instantly achieving luminous, translucent and moisturized skin.
Packaging: Simple white tube with a flip open cap. The packaging is light weight and sturdy, perfect for a product like this. The tube can be easily carried while traveling. The flip cap ensures that the product does not spill.
How to use? After wash, dry your face. Take some clay mask on your hand and apply it all over your face, avoiding the eye and mouth area. Gently massage the product on your face using small circular motions for about a minute. Rinse thoroughly. Limit the product use to 2 - 3 times a week. Avoid harsh rubbing.
Texture: The product is soft and creamy. Despite the fact that this product acts as an exfoliating agent, the micro scrub granules are not huge or chunky (which is the case with most exfoliators), which is a huge relief for those with sensitive or acne prone skin. The creamy texture ensures smooth application and does not cause any kind of irritation.
Overall experience: When something reads 'Clay Mask', you immediately think of it to be a 'keep it on for five minutes and then wash, pat dry' kind of a product. Za True White Exfoliating Clay is different. You don't have to run around the house keeping the mask on (and scaring a few others in your all white avatar). This fuss-free product is quick to use and provides instant result. The fragrance is subtle and quite similar to all the products from the True White range. We used it as directed for two weeks (twice a week) and noticed that the skin does feel soft and supple after use. It gives your skin a soft glow. Follow it up with a moisturizer and you will notice that the build up of sebum on your face will be lesser than usual, all day long. This product is perfect for the humid weather, especially for those with oily skin. If you are looking for something that can get rid of major blackheads, then this product is not for you. It is perfect for those who want to add a multipurpose product to their kit, instead of going through the typical routine of using a exfoliator and face mask.
Pros: - Nice, creamy texture
- Keeps excess sebum at bay
- Adds a soft glow to your skin
- Well priced for the quantity offered
- Tested by dermatologists
Cons: Ingredients (Alcohol, Dimethicone)
Verdict: A decent addition to the huge variety of exfoliators available in the market. However, if you are looking for something that provides instant glow and cleanses your skin well, without using up too much time, then you can definitely give Za True White Exfoliating Clay a try. It is worth your money, thanks to the smooth texture and easy application process.

Za True White Emulsion Review
Za True White Emulsion | Review
Za range of beauty products recently completed their first anniversary in India. Diary of a Dancebee has witnessed every major step that Za India has taken, be it the launch event, introducing innovative products or adding a customized touch to our compact kits. While there are more surprises in store for Za lovers (keep an eye out for updates), we recently came across the Za True White Emulsion and decided to test it. The super hot and humid climate right now calls for light products, that don't leave your skin feeling too heavy and oily. Is the Za True White Emulsion your best bet this Summer? Read our full review to find out.
Product: Za True White Emulsion
Price: Rs 899
Quantity: 125 ml
What does it promise? - This Feather-light, non-oily emulsion easily permeates into the skin to give translucency, brightness and even-tone, while replenishing moisture levels for an incredibly soft and smooth skin.
Packaging: The product comes in an elegant white bottle, which is quite sturdy and travel friendly. The cap fits well, so your product won't spill. Since the bottle is slightly heavy, you may want to transfer some product into a smaller bottle, that can be carried for long journeys.
How to use? - Smooth an appropriate amount over face with hand or cotton pad after toner. Slowly apply the Emulsion from the center of the face outwards.
Texture: Though it may look like a runny, heavy moisturizer or lotion, the Za True White Emulsion is a perfect example of why you must not judge a book by its cover. The texture of this product is extremely light, silky and non-greasy. Within seconds after application, the product gets absorbed and leaves a dewy finish, giving your skin a hydrated glow after a few minutes. The lightweight texture of this product is one of its biggest plus points.
Overall experience: This product was tested for a month and was used regularly at night (and sometimes, during the day as well). Despite the humidity in Mumbai, the product did not leave my skin feeling too oily or greasy. Instead, it hydrated my skin from within. Apart from moisturizing and hydrating, the emulsion also promises to suppress melanization, diminish dark spots, patchiness and blemish marks. It also promises to give you an even tone and removes excess skin surface cells. While the product didn't really work on a few blemish marks, it did add some brightness and glow to my overall complexion (no, I am not talking about fairness here. Not into the complexion color game). Since my skin got tanned during the week long Konkan sojourn, I am now looking forward to testing how it works on balancing my skin tone. Thanks to its smooth and light texture, the emulsion hydrates your skin completely and does not leave it patchy at all. The fragrance is decent - not very strong and is similar to other products from the True White range. For those who are on the look out for a moisturizer that can be used under any foundation, this is your best bet. Not only did it keep my skin supple for a good 5-6 hours, it also helped the foundation settle well. While almost everything about this emulsion is great, my only tiny worry was seeing Alcohol as part of its ingredients list. Another issue is that the emulsion has no SPF or UV protection, so you will have to lather on a separate cream or moisturizer for that.
Pros - Sturdy and elegant packaging
Lightweight texture, which is perfect for summer
Subtle fragrance
Keeps your skin hydrated, adds a nice glow
Tested by dermatologists
Perfect for application under a foundation
Well priced for the quantity and quality
Cons - Ingredients (Alcohol, Dimethicone)
No SPF or UV protection
Would be great if they launch a 50 ml travel size too
Verdict: For the price you pay and the impressive quality of this product, Za True White Emulsion is definitely a good buy. This is my new go-to product for the pre-foundation process, as it hydrates my skin very well and does not irritate the sensitive areas. Recommended, especially if you need a good moisturizer this summer that multitasks like a pro!
