What’s a shoe fanatic without a brilliant collection of sneakers? Everyone loves shopping for footwear and apart from the usual pumps, stilettos, brogues among others, we all love spending a good amount from our savings account on a fancy pair of kicks that can spruce up any outfit. This season, the international market is flooded with some stylish and versatile sneakers that we can’t stop eyeing. Pair it with distressed denims and graphic tee or add some funk to by wearing it with a dress, a cool pair of sneakers can never go wrong. While hunting for some footwear (and adding some to our wish list), we decided to compile a list of the best sneakers, that certainly needs to make its way into our wardrobes.

Nike Dunk Sky Hi

C’mon! Admit it. We all love the Nike Dunk Sky Hi collection. Every season, Nike surprises us with new colors and fabrics, making it difficult to choose just one favorite. If the Red or Blue dunks left you wanting for more, you will be delighted to see the new Coral dunks, or even the white, blue and purple ones. Oh! And did we tell you, we are totally lusting over the brand new leather dunk-sky hi? We saw them at the recently held Nike Press Preview and well, we couldn't have asked for a better eye candy!

Vans Brigata

A happy pair of canvas sneakers is perfect to add a vintage or school girl charm to your outfit. We came across the new Vans classic range called Brigata, which takes inspiration from nautical hues and elements. The range is divided into three types - Vans Brigata, C&C Brigata and the C&L Brigata - and couldn’t stop going gaga over it. If the basics like white, grey or black are your thing, then opt for a simple pair from the Brigata collection. Or if the nautical inspired hues are your thing, then go for the Brigata C&C range. If want to add a funky touch, go for the C&L range, which includes tonal laces and contrast liners. Who said canvas sneakers had to be boring white, eh?

Converse Cons Weapon Invader

Bring out the military diva in you and show off your attitude. Wear these cool Converse Weapon Invaders when you are all set to steal the show and invade the streets. Planning to head out in the night in these beauties? Well, get ready to shine, as the Weapon Invader has a glow in the dark outsole. The gold detailing provides the perfect finish to this strong and stunning pair.

Puma x Solange Wild Wonder Sneaker

Fun burst of colors and tons of metallic fun! Am I talking about a party? Nope! But one look at the beautiful Puma x Solange Wild Wonder collection sneaker and you can’t help but get your party mode one. Although this collection was launched last year, we continue our obsession with these babies. The fun silhouettes, textures, unique designs and the use of mesh underlays (perfect for summer) make this one a winner! Oh, and those graphic mid soles are the bomb.

Marc Jacobs fringed low-top sneakers

This stunning fringed slide-on pair is currently topping almost every shoe wish list. What’s not to like here? One look at that quilted detailing at the heel or the sophisticated fringe, and you will know what I am talking about. Since fringes is a much loved trend this season, this skate-inspired sneaker is definitely a must have if you can afford to splurge.

We have all had those days when we enter a mall or log on to our favorite online shopping site, only to fill our bags (or cart, if online) with tons of shoes. Sneakers, wedges, platform heels, boots, loafers, moccasins, and pumps among others, there is so much out there for shoe fanatics. C’mon, who wouldn’t love seeing a pair each of these divine beauties in their wardrobe? While there are a variety of brands that stock up on footwear, there are some that leave us wide eyed with their stunning collections. For those who are on the lookout for a brand new pair this season, we have got together a list of footwear brands in India that we can't stop loving (in no particular order).

Nike

 All the fellow sneakerheads in the house will agree that we can never get enough of the vast variety that Nike offers us, be it for training, running or just for everyday swag. Nike is one brand that keeps experimenting with shoe technology. After falling in love with the Dunk Sky-Hi and Air Max 2015, we have now got our eyes on the brand new Nike Roshe Flyknit, which was launched on March 5. These shoes are all set to take comfort to another level.

Charles & Keith

 One look at some of their yummy footwear and we challenge you to leave without buying a pair. On a personal note, I have always been a fan of their ankle strap sandals and platform heels in classic hues like white and nude. Their latest collection includes some stunning flat sandals with gold detail, colorful wedges and loafers in fun prints that can spruce up any outfit.

Steve Madden

When the heart wants to splurge, a pair of Steve Madden is what it needs. We all love their sexy peep toes and platform heels, don’t we? Especially those that add just the right amount of bling to your party outfit. And some of their new metallic slip ons look gorgeous.

 Love pairing your dresses or that favorite sweatshirt with a funky pair of slip ons? Or are high top sneakers totally your thing? Then Vans is sure to steal your heart. Metro is also frequented by those who look for comfort over style.

Adidas Originals

These guys are making us fall in love with their street style vibe, one collection after another. The face of sneakers is fast changing, with constant evolution and experiments, and Adidas Originals is nailing it big time in that department. This season, we can’t stop loving their collaborations with Rita Ora, Kanye West and of course, we are looking forward to the much anticipated ‘Superstar’ collaboration with American music artist Pharell Williams.
