After all the excitement and buzz around her wedding dates, actress Sonam Kapoor finally tied the knot with her long time beau (and now, husband) Anand Ahuja, during a quaint and peaceful Anand Karaj ceremony in Mumbai earlier today. In what looked like a scene straight from a fairy tale, the newly weds were happily seen posing and exchanging sweet nothings during the rituals, and enjoyed every bit of the moment where they exchanged garlands.  while the guests couldn't stop going gaga over their cuteness. 

The Kapoors and Ahujas chose a family bungalow in Bandra (Suburban Mumbai) as the venue for D-day, making it an intimate affair with just family and close friends attending the ceremony. The decor was breathtakingly beautiful, with dominant shades of blues and white flowers (mostly fresh Mogra) all around. Just as the rituals were about to begin, Sonam walked in with a bright smile, along with her brother Harshvardhan, cousins including Arjun Kapoor and friends, holding a dupatta over her head.

While several celebrities chose their best 'Summer Wedding' outfits for the occasion, the highlight of the afternoon were obviously the gorgeous newly weds. Their infectious smiles stole the show, and of course, we couldn't take our eyes off their respective outfits either.

Everybody was anxious to know all about Sonam's bridal outfit. Finally, the look was revealed and Sonam chose to keep the complete look traditional with a Red Bridal Lehanga by designed Anuradha Vakil. A Punjabi wedding is incomplete without the 'Chooda' and pretty Kaleeras, and needless to say, the actress looked every inch a gorgeous Punjabi bride. The Kaleeras worn by her are customised by Mrinalini Chandra, with peacock motifs.

From winning a National award to turning entrepreneur with her own fashion line - Rheson, the year clearly belongs to Sonam Kapoor. And when it comes to her fashionable appearances at the Cannes Film Festival, there is no stopping Sonam. Year after year, the actress has made us proud with her incredible red carpet choices, which go on to create a strong buzz in the international media as well. This year too, Sonam made a stylish splash at the French Riviera with some breathtakingly beautiful looks. We can't get over how stunning she looked in all her outfits. Right from the make up to accessories and her hair, we couldn't stop raving about it all. We gotta give it to Sonam for raising the bar at Cannes (and almost every other red carpet event) with her fabulous sartorial choices, every single year. Kudos to the Kapoor sisters - Sonam and Rhea Kapoor (the latter being her stylist) for taking risks and changing the way we look at fashion. The #DancebeeFashion Pick: We are head over heels in love with this look! Sonam Kapoor was a picture of grace and elegance in this stunning embroidered outfit, with lovely sleeves and a train. The custom haute couture blush pink gown by Elie Saab looked like a dream on her. Stunning pair of customised earrings and hath-phool by Kalyan Jewellers added a nice, desi-glam touch. Make up (by MUA Namrata Soni) was dreamy, with soft pink lips and highlighted cheeks, which complimented her outfit very well. We also loved how the wispy hair updo added a unique charm to the overall look. And of course, her charming smile was enough to light up the red carpet.
