The Nature's Co - Store Review

Who doesn't want a skin care routine that is absolutely harmless, cruelty free and au naturale? The least any individual would want is their CTM products to be full of harmful chemicals or unsafe ingredients. Thanks to our faster than a bullet train lifestyle, our skin goes through a lot of trouble already. Add to that the dust, pollution, UV rays and above all, the invisible chemical particles cause a lot of harm to our skin, some of which just goes unnoticed. Maybe that's why, many people are now taking shelter in the nature's lap and trying to find products which are similar to the skin remedies and concoctions mixed up in their grandma's kitchen.
My recent visit to The Nature's Co branch at Palladium reminded me of just that. Enter the store and you are engulfed in the aroma of Eco - friendly, vegan body, hair and face products. But do the products stand by their promise and deliver a good result?

Lily of the Valley body lotion and White Lily cream scrub
The store manager welcomed me with a warm smile, as she juggled between attending to several customers and showing me around. I asked her to continue, as the demand for products from these customers kept going up by the minute. Some items were out of stock, thanks to the heavy demand. "Our products contain natural ingredients that are against animal cruelty. We follow the vegan philosophy and each product here is made of up of one unique vegetable, fruit or element," the manager told me.

True to her spoken words, each product did have unique ingredients. I mean, where else would you find a Garlic Anti - Acne cream or a Coffee face scrub that smells divine? The products here are divided into 5 types: Atmospure (Inspired by pure air - soothing, calming items), Starrize (Inspired by the sun - providing nourishment), Foressence (Inspired by the forest - veggies, fruits, leaves among others), Earthborne (Inspired by the earth - nurturing properties found in soil, minerals among others) and Aquaspark (Inspired by oceans and rivers - replenishes and reinvigorates). While most products are all skin types, a few are treatment products for specific skin or hair problems.

I tried out a few products, but the experience isn't complete till you feel the products and see the difference for yourself. To enhance the 'product testing' experience, The Nature's Co offers a complimentary spa service, where you can try out the product/s of your choice, in a dedicated spa area. I loved the concept, since trying out a few testers isn't always the best way to judge a product. I zeroed in on a few items, which included a fuller's mask and got ready for the service, which I must say was a great one. After a good 20 minutes, I came out feeling fresh and my face felt hydrated and really supple. Moreover, the effect of the mask and subsequently applied moisturizer stayed on for several hours.

The store manager also suggested a few products according to my skin and hair type after a quick consultation and check. This service is offered to every customer, while the spa service to open to all those who buy products worth Rs 1000 and above (in case you don't have the time to enjoy the service on the same day, you will be issued a coupon which is valid for three months). They also have the Eco-barrel, where you can drop empty product containers and get discounts. Cool, right?
Here are a few other products that caught my eye (and made their way into my must buy list)

Irish Moss Sugar Body S

Chocolate Mint body butter and Green clay body wrap

Grapefruit Sugar Body Scrub

Store experience: Brilliant

Product availability: Good

Knowledge of the store manager: Very Good

Products on offer and price range: Very Good

Verdict: My experience at The Nature's Co was wonderful. I also picked up a few products and so far, the experience has been good. Your best bet here are the amazing body scrubs, face masks, massage oils, body lotions and ayurvedic eye masks.
