Birthday Special | When Sidharth Malhotra Motivated Us with #SidFit
The student has grown up to quite a talented and charming performer. For someone who made his debut only four years ago and has just six releases so far, actor Sidharth Malhotra has proved his mettle as an artist by experimenting with his choice of films and characters. Be it the confused boyfriend Nikhil in Hasee toh Phasee, the bad boy turned good Guru in Ek Villain or the struggling writer Arjun in Kapoor & Sons, Malhotra has showcased some serious versatility in all of his films.
In fact, Baar Baar Dekho saw him age back and forth in a single film, and we personally think it was one of his best performances so far. He does not shy away from transformations either; the best example being Brother, where he beefed up and added 10-12 kgs to look the part of an MMA wrestler. While the actor continues to impress us with his fine performances and stylish appearances, we are particularly inspired by his fitness routine. The supremely fit actor, who turns 32 today, regularly posts workout images and videos on social media, and needless to say, #SidFit has got many of us motivated to get our fitness A-game strong. Don't believe us? Read on.
When he said - Good enough is not enough, if better is possible. We couldn't agree more!
When his dedication gave us goals and made us believe that indeed, training is what puts more in our lives
When even an ankle injury on the set didn't stop him from hitting the gym and working on his upper body
When he made a plank look SO EASY and adorable with his nephew
When despite a packed schedule, he took time out for his workout and insisted that we do that too
When he got into the callisthenics mode post shoot, like a boss!
When he made us believe that it's not just about lifting heavy iron. One needs to work on the Mind, Body and Soul
Here's wishing you a very happy birthday, Sidharth Malhotra! Lots of luck for the year ahead.
Keep slaying it.
