Back to College (Fall 2015) | Tata Aerosoles

Before I start talking about my look in this post and discuss Back to School necessities for Fall, here's wishing all our readers a very happy and joyous season of Navratri. Dress up in your most amazing colourful outfits for the next nine days, flaunt your best smile and don't forget to dance your heart out on Dandiya beats. Have fun!
So, we all know that most students are currently busy giving their exams (this time, two years back, I was busy giving my semester examinations and the task of studying during the festive season was super tough). But as soon as you finish the last exam, one cannot wait to ring in the holiday season. I know many people who love stocking up on their Fall / Winter college outfits during the Diwali break. It's the perfect time, with deals on the new collection and a variety of styles to choose from. While putting together the appropriate outfit for winter, it is important to remember that your clothes must not just look stylish, but also keep you comfortable and warm. This season, you might want to ditch the conventional colours and opt for warmer, muted pantone hues like dried herb, marsala, reflecting pond or stormy weather (refer to the Pantone colour card for more details) or for those who wish to add a pastel touch, hues like cashmere rose and cadmium orange are perfect for the chilly weather (one of my favourite go-to jackets this season is a cashmere rose wrap jacket). So apart from some good long jackets, sweatshirt dresses, chunky knits, turtleneck tops and the usual necessities, you might want to pick one more important thing.

It is extremely important for you to pick the right of pair of shoes (and honestly, that applies for every season). After all, no one wants sore heels after a long day at college. I recently heard about the launch of Tata Aerosoles, a brand that aims at combining comfort and style together in their range of fashionable footwear. I have always stood by the fact that when it comes to apparel and accessories, comfort tops my priority. So, when I browsed through their latest product catalogue, I was quite impressed. All their shoes promise to provide amazing comfort, without comprising on the style aspect and are well priced. Now, that's everything that a college student needs, right? While traveling in a city like Mumbai, one has to ensure that they choose the right pair of footwear, which has good grip and balance. What if you don't get a seat in that train? Or, what if you have to run behind a bus before boarding it? Students, a lot like working professionals, are always on the go. Especially after every 50 minutes, when they move from one class to another, while attending lectures. That's the reality of life.  And so, I thought the Tata Aerosoles range of footwear comes as a perfect saviour.

What really got me hooked on was the technology that goes into the making of these shoes. The Aerosoles have an internal stitching (the inside out process), wherein the upper part is stitched to the flexible sole and then, the shoe is turned outwards (right side), in order to perfectly place the extra cushioned footbed, which is one of this footwear's highlights. The entire process is called Stitch and Turn. The diamond pattern in the soles make for the perfect base, as it provides both comfort and flexibility. It is great to know that their promise of comfort, flexibility and good fit is not just restricted to the shoe range, but also boots, sandals and even pumps. Who said high heels can't be comfortable, eh? Tata Aerosoles is here to change the game and well, its a good thing for the consumers, as we now have a wide variety of style meets comfort range of shoes to choose from. I can vouch for the comfort and flexibility of these shoes, as I tested this pair for an entire month and it was almost like walking bare feet. So this season, give your old college footwear a miss. Try something from the new Aerosoles range, and trust me, your feet will thank you later!
